Disclaimer: The intention of this documentary was only to educate and raise awareness of the issues of Japanese war atrocities, not racial hate. The stance this film tries to take is 100% neutral, but we apologize if any parties were offended. This was in no way an attack against the people of Japan, only a critical analysis of the Japanese government. We urge you to do your own research so that you may find out the facts for yourself.

Although there is certainly no justification for these atrocities, there were reasons why Japan proceeded to walk down the path of brutality. As mentioned before, Japan, like many other Asian countries at the time, were pressured by foreign powers in unequal treaties. They believed a strong army, meant a strong nation. They needed resources, which China had in abundance, to modernize their country into a superpower. Combining that thought with their reaction to western powers, they formed their own utopian vision that they were going to "save" East Asia from the control of westerners. The government "brainwashed" their people and armies into thinking that they were superior to all other Asians, and that what they were doing was right on the basis of modernization, and on the basis of fulfilling their divine Emperor God's so-called "destiny", to take over the world. They rallied a common perception in Japanese minds that they were going to incorporate Asia into an "East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere", where each East Asian country would be able to prosper in the new age. With this illusion of superiority in mind, like the Nazis, the Japanese Imperial Army was then able to do the unthinkable. After they lost the war, they were forced to admit that their emperor was no god, and that their people were not divine. Even after 70 years, the angst remains strong today in the minds of many Asians, evidently because Japan has shown no remorse or responsibility for their atrocities. It is ironic then, to see that the Bushido philosophy of the Japanese people which teaches them to value honour, respect, and humility, to be completely contradicted in their Japanese government who pride themselves in racism, denial towards history, and disrespect. These events must be taught like the Holocaust was, because even if an official apology were to be placed, the western world will still be ignorant of what happened before. Although these atrocities happened 70 years ago, there are survivors still alive and fighting for an apology and compensation today. Thus, it is not history, but rather still a present-day issue. Although what's done is done; it is important to know what human beings are capable of doing so we do not repeat them. Ultimately, can the Japanese government accept its past, reconcile with its neighbours by offering a sincere national apology, and move towards a brighter future without shame or regret? Only time will tell. As for the victims who suffered from these atrocities; may their souls rest in peace.

http://RapeofNanking.info Rape of Nanking - Nanjing Massacre. Japanse Atrocities in Asia. Part I of 2. This documentary is based on 20 years research and consists entirely of archival photos and film-clips. This film begins with an overview of Japan and China at the beginning of the 20th Century, explains the mind-set of the Japanese and their God, Hirohito, and then continues with the invasion of China, the crimes committed by the Japanese (during the Fall) on the road to Nanjing, Nanjing Massacre, the rape of the Philipines, Unit 731, the Baatan death camps, Japanese denials, and the dropping of the A-bomb on Japan.
The purpose of this film is educational, and to explain the mind-set that led to a horrible crime: the torture and murder of 280,000 civilians by Japanese soldiers who took great pleasure in raping, bayonetting, beheading and burning people alive. We wish to emphasize: These crimes took place throughout Asia, and the Japanese planned the same for the White races as well, including America.
Those who do not learn from the past, are condemned to repeat it. The purpose of this film is, thus, educational. We have no hatred for the Japanese people.
This documentary is an independent production. We are not associated with and never received any financial help from the Chinese government or any group or organization. The film is completely independent. We have no political motives. We have no purpose and no other goal other than to create an interesting, provocative, educational movie that speaks to the mind and intellect, and which can speak to the heart and one'e emotions.
Credits: The English edition is narrated by Rhawn Joseph, Ph.D.. The film was produced, written, and edited by Rhawn Joseph, Ph.D. Additional Credits: Music. The musical soundtrack (all music is identified at the end of the film) was arranged and selected by R. Joseph, Ph.D., and was reproduced in this film courtesy of Arc Music Productions Int., LTD, United Kingdom; Nonsuch Records, Warner Music Group, Rhino Entertainment, New York. Sony Classical Music, New York.
ABOUT TED LEONSIS: We sent a VHS copy of this film and a marketing plan to the top executives at many internet companies including AOL and Ted Leonsis in the summer of 2005. We believe that Leonsis stole our idea for this film and then stole our marketing plan. People we later learned were working for Leonsis falsely pretended to represent us and our film and then stole over $25,000 in donated production funds then harassed and threatened our co-producer Haiyan Wu. The Chinese communist government which had been friendly and supportive turned hostile and refused to allow our film to be shown in China so that Leonsis would not have any competition. Those organizing showings of our film in China were even threatened by Chinese authorities, even though our film was being praised by all the major newspapers and media in China, including the Communist mouth piece, The People's Daily. Who benefited by stopping our film? Ted Leonsis.
Nevertheless, our film was shown in Nanking in December of 2007, the 70th anniversary of the Rape of Nanking. Unlike the Leonsis film which failed in Nanking, the showing of our film was a tremendous success and the theater was packed and people stood and lined the walls. A second showing in Wuhan China was even more successful. Whereas, in China, the Leonsis film was shown largely to empty seats, over 1,800 people showed up to watch our film in Wuhan and 300 had to be turned away.
Don't be fooled by Leonsis.
China Central TV called our film "the best... most influential film ever made on this tragedy."
Indeed, our film has been viewed an estimated 10 million times world wide, 100s of copies of this film are hosted on Chinese websites, and it has been viewed over 4 million times in the US.

抗日战争 (1937-1945) the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japan

SUBSCRIBE AND YOU GET FREE STUFF!!!
By 2010, China will have built TWO nuclear-powered supercarriers. By 2015, China will have THREE nuclear-powered supercarriers. By 2016, China will have an entire super aircraft carrier FLEET.
The People's Liberation Army Navy (中国人民解放军海军 or 中國人民解放軍海軍) is one of the world's largest and deadliest sea forces. It is the third largest in the world in 1987. The PLAN also includes 35,000 Coastal Defence Force and 56,000 Naval infantry/Marines, plus a 56,000 PLA-N Aviation naval air arm operating several hundred land-based aircraft and ship-based helicopters. The PLA-N is building a blue-water navy, and has undergone some MIRACULOUS upgrades and modernisation. The PLA-N is one of the few sea forces with its own Stealth ships. It has fought in six major wars; and the PLA-N won all of these battles. Lesson of the day? DON'T START A WAR WITH CHINA!
China will have two Chinese-designed and Chinese-built aircraft carriers in 2010. China will have an entire aircraft-carrier FLEET by 2015.
My grandfather was an Admiral of the East Sea Fleet in the People's Liberation Army Navy. He had the 2nd most powerful rank in the PLA Navy. He fought in the Chinese Civil War. He took victory in ALL of the battles he fought.

**FAIRCHILD VIDEO CONTEST 2007 HONOURS**
"Truth Serum" MV
Originally Released: Oct 11th, 2006 Arranged By: D.Ho Lyrics: D.Ho
DTM's "Truth Serum" music video released November 2006. The actual album version of "Truth Serum" is a full song, this video just focuses on the first verse for school purposes.
Note: I am not a racist. If speaking up and raising awareness of the truth behind covered-up histories is considered racist, then does that mean Tupac Shakur and Kanye West are racists too? If you can't handle the truth, then you are the true racist for disallowing free speech.
Comment: Only DTM has the balls to serve it straight up like this.
Story: "Truth Serum" touches on the many different war crimes the Japanese Imperial Army commited during the Second World War, yet fail to acknowledge and apologize to its victims to this day. Instead the Japanese government and media continue to deny any claims which are all proven true by historical facts from journalists, historians and researchers around the world. This video hopes to raise awareness to the younger generation of all races of the facts and is not meant to raise hate. This song is strictly one for the 'heads. If you ain't feelin' this then you don't know hip-hop.
Lyrics: What really happened from 1937 to 1945? Who knew man could commit such atrocious war crimes? Back when the Japanese army occupied East Asia, it was called The Rape of Nanjing, and it happened in China. Nah you won't find none of this sh*t written in a textbook, this was worst than the Holocaust, it made damn Hitler shook, our fathers were forced to rape their own daughters, and sons their mothers, babies impaled on bayonets and tossed into boilin' water. Scientific experiments were tested on our forefathers, dissection with no anaesthetic, they didn't even bother. We were lined up, chopped up, and shot for fun; so many were killed and tortured it became a competition. They thought it was fun, to bury us chest high. Then watch as dogs tore our heads off and ate us alive. And them Yanks promised to keep all this a secret, as long as them J*ps shared the results of their sick experiments.
Do you call that humane? Do you call that justice? This ain't a hate song it's a message to the masses, listen to my words and walk with me through these ashes.

ABOUT THE COMMENTS POSTED: It's a shame to see the hate and racist remarks that people can make. The general public have obviously not been able to understand or comprehend that this video was made to raise awareness, not hate. Worse yet, many racists use the internet as a mask of concealment to fire their comments of pure nonsense. If you showed some actual intelligence, maybe we would actually care about what you had to say and take it to heart. May the people who suffered from this incident rest in peace and harmony.
TO THE PERSON WHO FLAGGED THIS VIDEO: MAY YOU BURN IN HELL FOR CONCEALING THE TRUTH.
