A short film set in the late 80's, a young boy (Timothy) befriends Karl Muller (an Internet hacker supplying US military secrets to the Soviet KGB) only to find himself in the middle of an international espionage ring. These two misfits find common ground, supporting each other through hardships and potential danger. The friendship (and Karl's wealthy lifestyle) cannot last forever and Timothy soon discovers the true price of spying.
