More about me. ..These are things that I do NOT agree with, and STRONGLY oppose:

* Any type of fundamentalist system of beliefs, whatever its denomination, particularly Islam and Evangelical Christianism.

* ILLEGAL immigration, (and those who condone it), and out-of-control, unrestricted multi-ethnic culturalism. These are clear and present dangers to our country and its sovereignty, our traditions, and our national values.

* ANY kind of anti-American activity or notion, wherever it may come from.

* ANY kind of extremes in our political life and discourse, whether they come from the Left or the Right.

I agree with Bill O'Reilly on a few things, and with Michael Moore on others. I support the Second Amendment, but I am against anyone arming themselves to the teeth with automatic assault rifles just because they can.

I believe abortion is an issue based ENTIRELY on personal responsibility, that should be PRIVATE, and should have NOTHING to do with government or politics.

I am into critical thinking, tolerance, and open-mindedness. I am Agnostic/Atheist, and believe that Secularism is not only healthy, but that it makes for better relations between people of all races and backgrounds.

I am a strong believer in Darwin's Theory of Evolution and in Science. I absolutely DO NOT believe in Creationism or Intelligent Design ideas.

I passionately believe in the principle of Separation between Church and State, and in the idea that religion belongs strictly inside the temple and in the home, AND NOWHERE ELSE!

I believe in the principle of religious freedom that caused our earliest forefathers to cross an ocean in search of that liberty, which remains brilliantly enshrined in our Bill of Rights.

I am for Peace-Through-Strength, and also for the notion that it takes a village to raise a child. I like the idea of a strong and pro-active foreign policy that aggressively promotes democracy and justice in the world.

However, I also support equally aggressive and pro-active domestic and fiscal policies that strengthen mainly the poor and the Middle Class, and that feature the sturdiest social safety net mechanisms we can possibly implement.

I believe ALL Americans should have basic medical coverage GUARANTEED by the government, as is the case in most of the other industrialized First World nations.

But I also believe in the advantages and the enduring power of Alexander Hamilton's uniquely American economic super-system. I STRONGLY BELIEVE in Darwin's Theory of Evolution, but I STRONGLY OPPOSE Darwinian capitalism, because it is a LETHAL threat to republican democracy as we know it.

I am a big fan of FDR, but an equally big fan of Ronald Reagan. I believe the best Republican ever was Theodore Roosevelt, and the best Democrat ever was Harry Truman.

I could be a very liberal Republican, or a very conservative Democrat, so that makes me very much a Centrist, and that is part of the essence of my American Dream, AND I SUPPORT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT! GO OBAMA!!
