As an artist, makeup is just another medium to create with. I did not go to school for makeup. I'm self taught by practice, experimentation, and picking up a few tips from some fierce club kids & drag queens back in my party days...hence my huge tacky fake eyelash fetish and penchant for shimmer (that i'm trying to break!) ;) Most importantly though, just not being afraid to break the "makeup rules". Because really, there are no rules. I am not a slave to MAC or brand pretentious, so you will see me using many different brands from high end to low end. I usually spend no more than 20 minutes on every look i do. I have serious makeup A.D.D. 'Themed', runway, and unconventional looks are very my style. I'm keeping my tutorials on the simple side due to time & my own short attention span, but still trying to rock it out while doing so :) My personal makeup style is best described as glam meets punk. So you will have to look elsewhere if you want the very toned down looks, although i'm trying to throw in a few natural looks for good measure. I also enjoy doing hair (oh hai kitchen beautician!) so hit me up with hairstyle requests, I'm particularly fond of vintage/pin up meets modern styles. Further on I may take this in to a Fashion direction too since that's my real passion. Everything I do is usually inspired by something whether it be art, music, fashion, nature, pin ups, or pop icons. Any silly idea i have floating in my head i can usually translate in to a face..and coordinating outfit :p
