Your background is really disturbing

For 'think of me' I just used a program called audacity which you can download for free. And I bought a $2 adapter from radio shack that fits on a regular stage microphone so I could plug in to the computer. I recorded the music first in audacity by holding the mic up to the speakers and then I recorded myself singing. Then I lined up the two tracks so that they're in sync. Then I combined them to one track and exported the whole thing as a wav file. The I imported that wav into windows movie maker (also a free program I think) added the purty pictures and done! Sounds complicated I know.... It kinda was.
